While I'm not saying anything you don't know, it's good to remember a nasty feature of shorts is that when they go against you, your position size gets bigger. It is one of the reasons they are so hard to manage and are prone to ripping your face off. I've grown quite fond of put spreads instead of outright shorts. So much easier to manage and can offer excellent RR.
The current lack of schedule is fine...just write when there is something worth saying!

Would also urge to to NOT SET A SCHEDULE since I guess I'm most cases the quality goes down. Do not write for writing sth.
