Glad to hear you bought the silver basket. A lot of overlap with my own. A question: What led you to give Kuya such a (relatively) high weighting at 5%?
I have done quite a lot of research into it, and it felt comfortable. The silver basket is only a small part of my portfolio, so the 5% aren't as high as it seems at first glance.
Interesting. I'm preparing to add to my silver positions, and the weighting to give Kuya remains one of the question marks.
The fundamentals are solid, and while the price action has been horrible, I'm impressed that it hasn't dropped further on the coup in Peru. With just modest increases in silver, I think Kuya could easily triple this year.
I think it depends on How big your silver allocation is in general. Diversification among Exploration is important. They should be treated like VC investmemts
Re Bank of Georgia: I haven't looked at it, but I would be mindful that Georgia was a huge beneficiary of Russians fleeing from the war and money flowing in to Georgian banks during 2022. Some will go back to Russia, some will use Georgia as a temporary base and will immigrate to more attractive jurisdictions, so there is definitely a one-off effect here.

That is a great point that I haven't thought about. Thanks for the info
